Privacy Policy

MAGA Prayer Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Thomas Patrick Griffiths, a sole proprietor located at 1716 Lafayette St, Scranton, PA 18504. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or subscribing to our SMS service, you agree to this policy.
Our commitment on SMS data
Phone numbers and SMS opt-in information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade subscriber phone numbers, and we do not pass them to advertising networks, marketing partners, data brokers, or affiliate programs.
What we collect
- Account information: the first name and mobile phone number you provide at signup.
- Consent records:the exact opt-in text you agreed to, your IP address, your browser's user agent string, and the time you consented. We keep this to comply with mobile carrier and TCPA recordkeeping rules.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your card number, CVV, or full bank details. We receive only a customer ID, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card from Stripe.
- Message delivery logs: for each daily prayer we send, we record the message ID, time sent, delivery status, and any carrier error codes so we can troubleshoot failed deliveries.
- Inbound replies: the body of any text you send to our number (for example, STOP or HELP) so we can honor your request.
- Website analytics: aggregated, non-identifying data about pages viewed and signup conversion (e.g., via PostHog), used only to improve the site.
How we use your information
- To send you one daily prayer text per day at 7:00am ET.
- To send a welcome message after signup and required SMS auto-responses (STOP, HELP, START).
- To process subscription payments and refunds through Stripe.
- To respond to support requests you send by email or SMS.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory recordkeeping obligations.
Service providers we use
We rely on a small set of vetted vendors to operate the service. They receive only the data needed to perform their function and are contractually prohibited from using that data for any other purpose:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Twilio — SMS delivery to mobile carriers.
- Supabase — encrypted database hosting.
- Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions.
- Resend — transactional email (receipts, support replies).
Your choices
- Stop receiving messages: reply STOP to any daily text. Your number is unsubscribed immediately and you will receive a one-time confirmation.
- Cancel your subscription: reply STOP, or email us to cancel and request a refund.
- Access or delete your data: email support@maga-prayer-group.com from the address you used at signup, or from a number we can match to your account, and we will provide or delete your records within 30 days.
How long we keep data
We keep account and consent records for as long as you are a subscriber and for a minimum of four years after cancellation, which is the statute of limitations for most TCPA claims. Message delivery logs are retained for 18 months. Payment records are retained per Stripe's and our tax obligations (typically seven years).
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest. Access to the production database is restricted to the operator. We do not store payment card numbers on our systems.
Children
MAGA Prayer Group is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by SMS or email before the change takes effect.
